Are you prepared for an Emergency?

Check out these scenarios for emergencies. It really makes you think about your food storage plan. It made me really think about how my freezer based 3 month supply wouldn't work in some situations. Yikes.

Pop-Up Pancakes.


I made these. I just had to when I found THE RECIPE.

The recipe in case the link ever fails:

Pop-up Pancakes

1 cup milk
1 cup flour
6 eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
dash salt

1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
2. Blend all the ingredients, works best in a blender to get the batter smooth.
3. Grease your muffin tins or baking pan very generously. Makes 24 muffins or fills a 9×13 inch baking pan.
4. Bake them for 15 minutes, or until puffy and golden on top.
5. Use a knife to pry them out, hopefully they were greased well enough and should pop right out.

**I put this under three month supply because I think you could use all of these things, but the powdered versions.
